Users of VERSIA services guarantee and are responsible for the accuracy, validity and authenticity of the personal data provided and undertake to keep them duly updated.

The personal data provided will be kept for as long as they are necessary to meet the purposes for which, in each case, they have been collected or generated and the person does not request their deletion or opposition to the treatment, although they may be kept in accordance with the legal deadlines for compliance with legal obligations required by VERSIA.

The legitimacy for the processing of data by VERSIA will be carried out in the terms established by the European General Data Protection Regulation, with the data owner being informed of the title or titles of lawfulness that apply to each service provision, and which may be consent, the execution of a legal relationship in which the person is a party, compliance with a legal obligation or the legitimate interest of the entity in the development of its services and competences.

Recipients

During the processing of personal data, VERSIA will not transfer them except in compliance with a legal obligation or with the prior authorization of the person to whom it will be requested if necessary, and may transfer the data to other companies in the group for administrative or internal management purposes.

Likewise, the provision of the various services may require communication to companies, mainly IT services, linked to the provision of the service in question and which support our services, doing so with the appropriate guarantees and preserving the security of the data and in compliance with European legislation.

Rights

VERSIA provides interested parties with the exercise of the following rights linked to the processing of their personal data:

  • Right to request its rectification or deletion.
  • Right to request the limitation of your processing.
  • Right to object to the processing.
  • Right to data portability.
  • Right to withdraw consent given.

Any person has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether VERSIA is processing personal data concerning him or her, in order toallowing interested parties to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request their deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.

In certain circumstances, interested parties may request that the processing of their data be restricted, in which case the data will only be retained for the exercise or defence of claims. Likewise, in certain circumstances and for reasons related to their particular situation, interested parties may object to the processing of their data. In this case, VERSIA will stop processing the data, except for legitimate reasons or the exercise or defence of possible claims.

Data Protection Officer

VERSIA has a Data Protection Officer to monitor the application of the European Data Protection Regulation and development regulations, and to assess the implementation of any instructions and/or resolutions issued by the Data Protection Agencies and the Courts in this area, as well as to ensure respect for individuals in the management of their personal information by VERSIA and to respond to requests submitted by individuals exercising their rights related to the processing of their personal data.
